The dress code is black-tie optional. Black tie optional is defined as "wearing black-tie attire is not required but dressy attire is; black-tie weddings imply the need for a black tuxedo or full-length gown, but black-tie optional wedding attire means you do not need a black suit." The ceremony and reception are being held at Le Belvedere (40 des Sentiers, Wakefield, Quebec). The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather dependent).

Yes, the ceremony and cocktail hour are intended to be outdoors. However, there are indoor spaces available for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour as an alternative should Mother Nature not cooperate.

Taxis and ride-share services do not run to Le Belvedere, so it is recommended you make a plan in advance for getting home, or take advantage of the shuttle service that will be running to/from the Holiday Inn Gatineau-Ottawa. Please visit the Travel page for more information

Wine with dinner is included for all guests over the age of 18. A full service bar will be available during cocktail hour and after dinner, accepting cash or card payment.

Small bite/appetizer selections will be served during cocktail hour. A plated dinner including soup, main course, and dessert will be served for all guests. More information on meal options will be included in your invitation.

We do not currently have a registry. While it's no secret that both of us love things, our apartment is rapidly running out of storage space (as is Aunt Amy's basement and Emily's childhood bedroom!), so we are requesting monetary gifts to support us in the purchase of our first home in lieu of physical gifts.
